"It is very important to step into what is so very clear good; it is very important!”

Humans of Hope: “You are collecting money for the children at the American border, what does this give you?”

Fahad: ”Well, I have been looking for a way to get involved with sort of a political half. I haven’t found a way that was satisfying until I started with this. I find the work meaningful because there are a number of people I talk to, who say they haven’t heard about what is going on. Everyone says that we need to start a dialogue, we need to have conversations. It is nice helping with that. It is nice being one of these people having this conversation.”

Humans of Hope: ”So the deepest meaning for you?”

Fahad: ”I know there is not a lot I can do as a person, knowing that gives me a chance to do what I can do and as far as where I am in my life right now, this is what I can do. So it gives a personal meaning, but it is important never the less.

Humans of Hope: ”Also for me meeting you here, I can sense within myself that it lifts me up. – Nice some people are doing something, because otherwise when you just read about it, you feel helpless.”

Fahad: ”You can feel very helpless, exactly.”

Humans of Hope: ”Yes you can, so this is also a way for you not just to feel like I did, helpless in relation to this.”

Fahrad: ”Yes, exactly. It is, you know, with so much information available all the time, is it valid, is it not, it is hard to know how to prioritize myself. But we are also in a time where there is a clear good and a very clear bad. It is very important to step into what is so very clear good; it is very important!”

Humans of Hope: ”Thank you!”
